Captain’s log, supplemental. I have received a serious complaint from one of the Vulcan security officers about a threat made to him by our Jem’Hadar first, Kara’Kar.
24 hours later
Byrnes was all smiles as he walked out of the brig. Kara’Kar caught up with him as he walked.
“I take it you are not going to be executed for your disobedience?” He asked.
“Nope. Not this time.”
“You acted honorably. My Jem’Hadar have spread the tales of your deed all across the ship. You have earned respect among them.”
Byrnes laughed. “Who would have ever thought when we first met, you would be out praising my honor?”
Kara’Kar shrugged. “Just to be clear, we are not friends. I merely showed respect for a fellow warrior.”
“Of course you did.” Byrnes remarked. “Come on, non-friend. Let’s go spar some more.”
